Oswald Adams, 83, of 3394 Old 51, died Wed, Dec 25, 1985, in Lakeland, FL.
He was born Dec 25, 1902, in Europe. He married Frances Hass Jun 1, 1925, in Detroit.
Mr. Adams was a retired farmer and service station operator. He owned and operated Adams' Texaco Service in Croswell from 1951 to 1966. He was a member of Croswell United Methodist Church. he spent the last 16 winters in Florida.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife; two sons, Robert and Allen, both of Croswell; four daughters, Mrs. Everett (Arlene) Hope, Applegate, and Mrs. Eldred (Margarete) Pudney, Mrs. Clyde (Mary Lou) Bradley and Mrs. Gerald (Marilyn) Weyeneth, all of Croswell; one brother, Leo Adams, Warren; 23 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
A brother, Al, and a sister, Mrs. Tillie Woods, died earlier.
Services were held Sunday in Croswell United Methodist Church. The Rev. George Ward, pastor, officiated.
Burial was in the Croswell Cemetery.
