Oneita "Ma" Dirr, 80, of Kalkaska, passed away on Mon afternoon, Mar 7, 2011 at her daughter's home in Hudsonville, MI. She was born on May 7, 1930 in Toledo, OH.
Oneita enjoyed sewing, reading, and most of all being with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, George Bergholtz, in Oct 2008; her daughter, Garna Hall in Jun 2007; her grandson, Chad McGuire in Jan 2008; and her great grandson, Sunshine Morgan in May 2004.
Oneita is survived by her two loving daughters, Sue (Arnie Rudolph) Sandell of Hudsonville and Denise Morgan of Kalkaska; seven grandchildren, Shayne (Christin) Sandell of Grand Ledge, Lori (Joe) Trees of Sterling Heights, David Martin of CA, Kenny all of Sterling Heights, Nick (Anna Lowing) Morgan of Kalkaska, Blake Morgan of Perryton, TX, and Dana (William Flanigan) Morgan of Kalkaska; eight great grandchildren, Brayden, Logan, and Camren Sandell, Brittney (Brandon) Trees, Madelyn Morgan, Kaylee Jo and Black Morgan Jr, and Akira Flanigan; and special friends, Bill Sandell of Kaleva and members of Kalkaska VFW Post 8684.
A luncheon will be held in Oneita's memory for family and friends at the VFW hall in Kalkaska on Apr 9, 2011 at 2pm.
