Norman Keith Fenstermaker, age 90, of Powell, OH passed away Fri, Feb 24, 2012, at the Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing Care Center, Dublin, OH. He was born in Pickerington, OH.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Florence Fenstermaker; his siblings, William Fenstermaker, Harriet Crampton, James Fenstermaker, and Kathleen Schein.
He was a graduate of Pickerington High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University School of Business and then obtained a juris doctorate from the Ohio State University College of Law. Norman served in the US Army during WWII as a language translator at Ft Lee, NJ and served during the Korean War as a noncommissioned officer attorney at Letterman Army Hospital, San Francisco, CA. He started his law career in earnest at Jenkins & Jenkins in Huntington, WV. Norman practiced law there for 28 years, culminating as the founding partner of Jenkins & Fenstermaker, PLLC.
Norman is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Anne Graham Fenstermaker; his children, Robert Norman (Mary Ellen) Fenstermaker and Nancy Lea Fenstermaker, all of Powell; one grandchild, Nicole (Rob) Ford of Delaware, OH; two great grandchildren, Candace Love and Emma Grace Ford; his dear sisters, Joanne Blevins of AZ and Pat (Denny) Lieb of Reynoldsburg, OH; his many nieces and nephews.
