Norman D.L. Riddle, 56, of Grayling, died Friday evening, May 9, 1997, at his residence.
Mr. Riddle moved to the Grayling area 35 years ago from Hudson. He was a retired carpenter and enjoyed snowmobile racing, hunting, horse racing, and the outdoors. He was a member of the Grayling Calvary Baptist Church and the Michigan Snowmobilers.
Born in Lyons, OH on Dec 31, 1940, he was the son of D.L. and Marjorie (Rozelle) Riddle. On May 5, 1962, in Grayling, he was united in marriage with Sandra Taylor who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by son Joseph (Jackie) Riddle of Grayling; daughters Tena (Bob) Dixon of Grayling and Tammy (Steve) Allen of Phoenix, AZ; brother Jack Riddle of Spencerville, OH; sisters Sandra Graf of Morenci and Geneva Sisson of Santa Rosa, CA; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Grayling Calvary Baptist Church. Rev. Robert Barnett officiated. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Grayling.
