Norma C. Halloway, 79, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Tue, Jan 8, 2019. She was a longtime member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and retired from the Defense Supply Center of Richmond after 33 years of service. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Ruby Edwards; loving husband, Paul Elden Halloway Sr; and daughter, Karen Halloway; and is survived by her sons, Chip Halloway and wife Tammy, Gary Halloway and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Ashley Layne and husband Tyler, Aaron, Emily and Jacob Halloway; brother, Buddy Edwards and wife, Brenda; sister, Edythe McKinney and husband, Garry; other extended family members and all those who knew her as “Mamar.” A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Sat, Jan 12, 2019, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 3110 Greenwood Ave, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, S. Prince George. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday from 1 to 2 pm at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
