Nor A. Billgren, age 83, of Marlette formerly of Cedarville and Oxford, Mich., went home to meet her Lord as a good and faithful servant Saturday, July 19, 2014.
She was born in Snover, January 17, 1931, the daughter of the late Robert and Erma (Clapsaddle) Dunn.
She graduated from Oxford High School in 1949.
She married Clair Billgren in Oxford, June 15, 1957.
Nora loved the Lord her entire life and was involved in her church in Michigan and Florida. She enjoyed playing her keyboard, bowling, reading, baking, canning, painting, hunting, and fishing.
Nora was greeted in heaven by her loving husband of fifty-three years, Clair Billgren; son in law, Gerry Sherman; parents, George and Erma Dunn; nephew, Scott Lamphier; brothers in law, Roy (Thelma) Fridline and Bob (Shirley) Eargood.
She is survived by, daughters, Kathy (Buddy) Ludwig and Cheryl Sherman; son, Dan Billgren and daughter-in-law, Jackie Billgren; grandchildren, Stacy Kesler, Katti Putnam, Amanda Ludwig, Adam and Jesse Sherman, Chad (Evon) Billgren; step grandson, Paul Nelson; great grandchildren, Samantha Kesler, Jacob and Brenden Putnam, Caleb, Hailey, Christian, and Hunter Sherman, Jackson and Mallory Sherman; sisters, Wanda Jane Kinkle, Alma Banks, Thelma Fridline, Shirley Eargood, and Nancy (Jerald) Lamphier; brothers, Jim (Peggy) Dunn and Max (Vernita) Dunn, plus several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Billgren and also a grandson, Michael Billgren.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Jul 23, at Pleasant View Free Methodist Church in Mayville from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 11 am in Pleasant View Free Methodist in Mayville, with Pastor Paul Armstrong officiating.
Interment will be in the Marlette Cemetery next to her husband.
