Nikki Ann Underwood Glenn, 58, of Niceville, FL, died Mon, Jul 3, 2006, at Twin Cities Hospital in Niceville after a brief battle with cancer. She was the sister of a local resident.
Born Dec 2, 1947, to the late Tex and Esther Underwood in Bluffton, she had resided in Indianapolis, Germany, and Belleville, IL, before moving to Niceville in 1987.
Her marriage was to Lawrence Glenn in Indianapolis, and he survives.
Mrs. Glenn worked at the Riviera Fitness Center in Fort Walton Beach, FL, Team Fitness Gym in Niceville and the Fort Walton Beach Family YMCA. She enjoyed collecting crystal.
Surviving with her husband are a son, Eric Glenn, Niceville; her stepmother, Martha Rennick (husband, Pete) of Montezuma, IN; three sisters, Penny Covault (husband: Steve), Mary Hall (husband: Jim) of IN and Anne Robison (husband: John) of Clear Lake, IA; and four brothers, Ricky Underwood (wife, Jeni) of Crawfordsville, Pat Underwood (wife: Sue) of Glendale, AZ, Donald Lang of IN and David Lang (wife: Jean) of TX.
Per Nikki’s request, no funeral or memorial services will be conducted; her future is already assured. She enjoyed her dogs. Also surviving are special friends, Diny Pouwels of Tacoma, WA, Brenda Every and Marvin “Mark” Markres, both of Niceville. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life c/o Brenda Every, 1108 Troon Dr W, Niceville, FL 32578 or to the Family YMCA, 1031 E John C Sims Pkwy, Niceville, FL 32578.
