Mrs. Neta P. Buxton, 82, of South Boardman, died Thu, May 24, 1995, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Buxton had been a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County, and was a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ. She enjoyed oil painting and flowers.
She was born in South Boardman on Oct 23, 1912, to Arthur and Eva (Hart) Hart. On Sep 1, 1962, in Mesick, she was united in marriage with James Buxton who survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Joyce Lantzer of Kalkaska; five stepsons, Jerry Buxton of Sela, WA, Dale Buxton of Seattle, WA, Arthur, Ronald, and James Sherman; two step daughters, Linda Williams of Lapeer and Dorothy Miller of Holland; four sisters, Merva Brown of Traverse City, Vera Cooper of Walled Lake, Wilma Ginter of New Port Richey, FL, and Donna Uitvlugt of Grand Rapids; several grandchildren, great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Three brothers, Harvey, Lawrence, and Devere Hart; one sister, Lorraine Parker, and one step son, Roger Buxton, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Mon, May 29, 1995, at the Kalkaska Church of Christ. E. Dan Johnson officiated. Burial was in Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
