Myrtie L Munchbach, 55, of Mancelona died Thu, May 14, 1992 at Munson Medical Center.
Mrs. Munchbach had moved to the Mancelona area in 1983.
She had been employed as a nurse's aide. She enjoyed ceramics and working with cosmetics and color.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Mancelona and of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 2309, serving as treasurer of the auxiliary.
Mrs. Munchbach was raised in Lansing and Potterville and had lived in Fort Wayne, IN and Middletown, OH.
On Jan 6, 1937, she was born in Ceresco to Richard A. and Florence M. (Corwin) Elliston.
On Mar 11, 1967 in West Wisner she was united in marriage to Arthur R. Munchbach, and he survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Robert Munchbach of Portland, MI and Steven and his wife Kathy Munchbach of Scottsdale, AZ; two daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Susan) Petrie of Sunfield and Mrs. Robert (Carolyn) French of DeWitt; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Glen Wagner of Nashville, MI, Richard Elliston of Charlotte and Clarence Elliston of Zephyrhills, FL; two sisters, Kathryn Munchbach of Zephyrhills and Mrs. Leslie (Dorothy) Pifer of Charlotte.
The mas of Christian Burial was held on Sat, May 16, at 1 pm at St. Anthony's Church in Mancelona with the Revs. William Zwiefka and Robert W. Nalley officiating.
A scripture service was held on Friday evening, May 15 at the Paullin Funeral Home in Mancelona.
