Myndwell B. Garner, 91, of Kalkaska, died Sun, Jan 19, 1997 at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Long-Term Care Unit.
Mrs. Garner moved to Kalkaska County from Kingston in 1908. She served as an Oliver Township Trustee for 25 years and was a member of the Town and Country Helping Hands. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and gardening.
She was born on Feb 4, 1905 in Kingston, to Henry and Maude Taylor Graves. On Jun 10, 1933, in Kalkaska, she married Kenneth Garner, who preceded her in death on Jun 16, 1967.
Surviving are son Murray (Pauline) Garner of Kalkaska; step son Milford (Polly) Garner of Traverse City; four grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Graves.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm, wed, Jan 22 at the Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. Robert Saxton will officiate. Burial will be in Oliver Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Long-Term Care Unit.
