Mrs. Mona G. Meyer, 68, of Fife Lake, died Thu, Oct 20, 1994, at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac.
Mrs. Meyer had been a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County, and was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and the outdoors.
Mrs. Meyer was born in Kalkaska County on Mar 5, 1926, to Lawrence and Ruth Mockerman Cain. On Jun 29, 1963, in Kalkaska, she was united in marriage with X. Charles Meyer who preceded her in death on Oct 23, 1981.
Surviving are one brother, Elmer (and his wife, LaVerne) Cain of Elk Grove Village, IL; one sister, Mrs. Wilbur (Beulah) Elliott of Fife Lake; three nephews, one niece; four great nephews; one great niece; and several cousins.
One daughter preceded her in death in 1964.
Funeral services were held Sun, Oct 23, 1994, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Fife Lake. Father Patrick J Barrett officiated. Burial was in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
