Mrs. Modena G. Lenard, 79, of Fife Lake, died Sat, Mar 12, 1994, at Traverse City Community Hospital.
Mrs. Lenard moved to Kalkaska County nine years ago from Wyandotte. She enjoyed reading and watching television. Born in Duff, TN on May 13, 1914, she was the daughter of Monroe and Hannah McCoy. She was married to Robert Murray who died in 1968. She then married Henry Lenard who also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Bobby Murray of Sears and John Murray of Southgate; four daughters, Betty Murray of Holland, Wanda Orr of Chicago, Barbara Campbell of Fife Lake, and Shelby LeBeau of Wyandotte; one brother, James McCoy of Safety Harbor, FL; one sister, Naomi Pangburn of Cedar Falls, UT; 34 grandchildren; and 51 great grandchildren.
One sister, Ruth McCoy, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Tue, Mar 15, 1994, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Elder Bobby Murray officiated. Burial will be in Lodi Cemetery.
