Mrs. Minnie M. Hanna, 86, of 936 Boyd, Traverse City, died late Friday evening at Munson Medical Center after a lingering illness. The former Minnie Moon daughter of Henry and Laura Moon, was born January 21, 1880, in Ingham county, later lived at Grayling and had been a resident of Traverse City since 1904. In addition to being a housewife, she was a paper hanger for many years.
Mrs. Hanna was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and of the Odd Fellows.
On October 12, 1897, at grayling she was married to Otis Hanna, who died January 16, 1948.
Surviving are: a son, Ray, of Traverse City; seven grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Laura Johnston and Mabel Christenson, both of Grayling; and a brother Loren Moon of Muskegon.
Besides the husband. Four brothers, Floyd, William, John, and Albert Moon, preceded Mrs. Hanna in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Reynolds funeral home in Traverse City, Pastor D.B Myers officiating. With burial in the family lot in Oakwood Cemetery.
