Mildred M Frye, of Lake City, passed away Sun, Sep 12, 2010 at her home with family. She was 85 years old.
Mildred was born Dec 17, 1924 in Kalkaska to Roy and Rose (Helsel) Ingersoll. She was married in Kalkaska Nov 30, 1951 to Harold E Frye. They were married for the last 58 years.
She enjoyed being with family, cooking, watching birds and flowers.
She is survived by her husband Harold; children, Craig Frye of Owosso, Frank (Dolores) Frye, Randy Frye, and Ricky Frye, all of Lake City. Also thirteen loving grandchildren; Craig Frye II, Amy Frye, Tracie Frye, Wendy (Frye) Francisco, Terry Frye II, Frank (Lori) Frye II, Misty (Jesse) Frye Clark, Harold (Cindy) Frye, Jeremy Frye, Joseph Frye, Daniel Frye, Shardae Frye, and Colin Frye; 27 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
She is also survived by brothers, Robert (Lajona) Ingersoll, Stanley (Marg) Ingersoll, Carl (Edith) Ingersoll, and Roy Lee (Ruth Ann) Ingersoll all of Fife Lake; sistes, Helen Sloat of Lake City and Virginia Marrow of Traverse City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Terry; granddaughter, Christina; great granddaughter, Haley; brothers, Frank and Homer; sisters, Violet, Rose, Linda, Blanche, and Lulu-Belle.
Funeral services will be 11 am Thu, Sep 16, 2010 at the Young Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Wed, Sep 15 from 3 to 6 pm. Burial will be at the Pioneer Township Cemetery.
