Michelle Denise Galarno, 54, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away in peace surrounded by her family on Sep 14, at her home in Winter Haven, FL. She was born on Jun 3, 1954 in Portsmouth, VA, to John Suyak and the late Joyce Trembley.
Michelle married Thomas Galarno on Nov 30, 2002 in Kalkaska. Michelle loved to fish, garden, cook, sew, knit, needlepoint and sing karaoke. She obtained an Associate Degree in business at Macomb Community College and was a proud member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Her favorite pasttime was spending time with her family.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Tom; her father, John and his wife, Mary Suyak, of Gladwin; two sons, Christopher and his wife, Conny Schrock, of Colorado Springs, CO, and Robert and his wife, Michelle Schrock, of Okinawa, Japan; two brothers, Terrence and his wife, Nancy Suyak of Birmingham, AL, and Gary and his wife, Patricia Suyak, of Owensboro, KY; two sisters, Lynette and her husband Denny Derror, of Mancelona and Lisa and her husband Grant Emmert of Brighton; and three grandchildren, Haley, Cameron, and Vincent.
Visitation was held on Oct 3, from 4 until 8 pm at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home. The scripture service was held at 7 pm. The memorial mass was on Sat at 10 am at St Mary of the Woods Catholic Church with the Rev. James Barrand officiating.
