Michael P Olson, age 72, passed away on Apr 25, 2021 with his loving wife, Sherry, by his side.
Michael was born on Feb 24, 1949 to Leon and Laura (Nordenberg) Olson. He graduated from Lakeview High School in 1967 before being drafted by the US Army, where he served four years in Korea and Vietnam. He had a great sense of humor and was very mischievous and loved to have fun. He loved bonfires and hunting. He was a wonderful dad and papa.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Shery, his children, Eric (Debbra) Olson and Jeremy (Nicole) Olson, his grandchildren, Ericka, Haley, and Paige Olson and Braendon Hook. He is also survived by his siblings, Mitchell (Connie) Olson, Kevin (Jan) Olson, Cassie (John) Simmons, Diana Olson, and Marshall (Yvonne) Olson as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will be having a celebration of life for Michael at a later date to be announced.
