Michael “Mike” James Peller, age 33, of Lansing, MI passed away unexpectedly at home on Aug 6, 2016. He was born in Charleston, SC, on Oct 15, 1982 to Bonnie and Charlie Peller.
He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved spending time with his children, family, friends, and loved walking his dog Buddy. Michael was a beautiful, kind, compassionate soul, and loved life to the fullest. He was a wonderful Dad and loved his babies Michael and Myajane with all his heart. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone in need.
He loved sports, especially any MSU events, and enjoyed bike riding with his family. He had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh, and really enjoyed music. He worked construction most of his life, a trade that he learned from his father, Charlie, grandfather Wallace MacLean Sr. and uncles Wally and Tom MacLean.
Michael is survived by his wife, Amy; two children: Michael and Myajane; his parents: Charlie and Bonnie Peller: Sister, Cynthia (Christopher) Gardner; brothers: Joshua and Justin LaCoursiere; grandmothers: Lillian (Bobby) MacLean-Vandersys and Marsha Cross; mother in law, Norma (Wilson Winebarger) Arcaute; father in law, Calvin (Cathy) Debassige; sisters in law: Mercedes Delgado and Nicole Arcaute; brothers in law: Antonio Delgado and Calvin (Barb) Debassige; nephews: Elijah, Jacob, Juan (JJ), Sebastian, and Jeremy; and nieces: Braylyn, Mercedes, Trinity, and Alyssa. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers: Wallace MacLean and Frances “Chuck” Peller, and grandmother, Shirley Peller.
There will be a memorial service at 5 pm on Fri, Aug 12 at the First Church of Christ, 300 W Sprice St, in Sault Ste Marie.
