Michael D. Finch, 24, of Fife Lake, died Fri, Jan 17, 1997, at home.
Mr. Finch was employed at Dominion/Wolverine Oil & Gas Co. of Traverse City. Except for five years in Kansas City, he was a lifelong resident of Fife Lake. An avid sports fan, he loved to hunt, fish, and ride snowmobiles and dirt bikes. Mr. Finch enjoyed his family, especially his niece and nephews.
He was born Jul 20, 1972, in Traverse City, to Douglas and Kathy Jean (Buchner) Finch.
Surviving are his parents; three sisters, Karen Finch of Cadillac, Jill (Tim) Kimball of Fife Lake, and Jennifer (Bruce) Minard of Beulah; niece Syndey Rae Kimball; nephews Simon Allen Kimball and R. Neal Minard; maternal grandmother Pauline Stettler of Fife Lake; and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were held Jan 21 at the Covell-Smith Funeral Home in Kinglsey with Rev. Dan Ingersoll officiating. Burial was in Clark Cemetery, Fife Lake.
