Max J. Broecker, 81, of Hadley, passed away on Thursday (October 6, 2005).
He was born on December 18, 1923 in Goodrich. He married Joan Quade, on March 14, 1953, at Christ Lutheran Church in Hadley/Goodrich.
Mr. Broecker was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. He proudly served his country during WWII in the US Army. He was a tool & die maker for General Motors. Max enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his son, Bruce (Anne) Broecker of Hadley; son-in-law, Bernard Jaje of Hadley; grandchildren, Victoria, Kurt and Chris; sister, Reva (Myron) Miller of Hadley and Dora (Richard) Schuller of Troutdale, Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Broecker; son, Jeffrey Broecker; daughter, Jennie Jaje; brother, Glen Broecker.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Christ Lutheran Church-Youth.
Funeral services were held on Saturday (October 8, 2005) at Christ Lutheran Church. Pastor Kelly Todd officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery, with a military graveside service under the auspices of American Legion Post #16 Honor Guard.
