Mr. Max I Zimmerman, aged 73, passed away Mon, May 18, 1998 at his home. He is survived by his wife Edna; his brothers and sisters in law, Don and Iva Zimmerman, L.D. and Kay Zimmerman, Leo and Evelyn Zimmerman all of Grand Rapids; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Zimmerman was a veteran of the US Army, serving in WWII and former part owner of Zimmerman’s Garage. At his request cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held Fri, May 22, 1998 at 2pm at the Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may meet the family for one hour prior to the memorial service. Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice.
