Maurice G. Clark, 87, of Kalkaska, died Tue, Nov 19, 1996, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Clark resided in the Fife Lake area for many years prior to seven years ago when he moved to Kalkaska. He was a retired farmer and worked for many years as a welder at Wayne Wire Cloth Products in Kalkaska. He was a member of the Fife Lake Baptist Church and a former member of the Odd Fellows Lodge. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
Born in Grand Traverse County on Oct 8, 1909, he was the son of William and Lucretia Gill Clark. On Dec 24, 1946, in Fife Lake, he was united in marriage with Dorothy Haskin who survives.
Also surviving are sons Keith (Rosalie) Clark of Ada, James (Lisa) Clark of Fife Lake, and Randy (Pam) Clark of Kingsley; 14 grandchildren; one great grandson.
Brothers Russell and Forest; sisters Dorothy Milliken, Flossie Hager, and Edna Raftery; and a great grandson, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Nov 22 at the Fife Lake Baptist Church. Rev. Allen Stebbins officiated. Burial was in Clark Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
