Mrs. Maude T. Fahl, 97, of Rapid City, died Fri, Feb 3, 1995, at Tendercare of Traverse City. Born in Mayville on Jul 11, 1897, she was the daughter of William and Anna Mapley Harbin. On May 18, 1935, in Detroit, she married Otis S. Fahl, who preceded her in death on Nov 15, 1981.
Mrs. Fahl lived in Detroit until moving to Kalkaska County in 1978. She enjoyed cooking and astrology, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are two stepsons, Otis Fahl Jr of Mesick and Max Fahl of Vancouver, WA; two step daughters, Betty Goudie of Rose City and Phyllis Smith of Upland, CA; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
One daughter, Beverly Miller and one step daughter, Willodean Liles, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Mon, Feb 6, 1995, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. E. Dan Johnson pastor of the Kalkaska Church of Christ, officiated. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit.
