Mrs. Mary Marguerite "Reta" Terrill, 92, formerly of Kalkaska, died Wed, May 14, 1997, at Autumnwood of McBain.
Mrs. Terrill had been a property owner in Kalkaska since 1953. Following retirement in 1970, she moved to Kalkaska from Detroit. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, the Ladies Encampment Auxiliary and the Ladies Auxiliary Patriarchs Militant. She enjoyed knitting.
She was born on Jun 6, 1904, in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada to Harry D. and Ella M. (Hamilton) Bowles. On Aug 8, 1923, in Detroit, she married Joseph J Terrill, who preceded her in death on Feb 21, 1984.
Surviving are granddaughters, Cindee (Larry) DuBey of Lake City and Kim (Chief) Rolin of Kalkaska; her son in law, Lowell Zentz of Kalkaska and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Shirley Zentz.
Funeral services were held Sat, May 17, 1997, at the Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. Rev. Charles Stanley officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Kalkaska United Methodist Church.
