Mary L "Bonnie" Erskine, 75, of Kalkaska passed away on Nov 4, 2005, at the Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Born on Apr 14, 1930, in Litchfield, IL, she was the daughter of the late Robert and LaVonne Cayce, and Henry and Grace Keil.
Bonnie married Ralph Erskine on Oct 31, 1963, in Wyoming. They were residents of Kalkaska since moving form Chelsea in 1990.
Bonnie retired from the US Postal Service in 1975. She was a member of the Bear Lake Christian Church and NRA, as well as a past member of the Eastern Star.
Surviving Bonnie is her husband, Ralph of 42 years; children, Evelyn (Dennis) Goudreau of Livonia, Stephen (Trina) Erskine of Stockbridge, Mary Grace Gazella of SC, Karen (Dale) Hammonds of Kalamazoo, Michael (Vickie) Erskine of Stockbridge, Sandy (Danny) Miller of Chelsea, Deborah Biship of Tacoma, WA, and Sheila Fuller of Kalkaska, 21 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Larry (Gloria) Cacye of Litchfield, IL, Jane (Melvin) Hoppe of Villa Ridge, MO, Charles (Margaret) Lewey of Ona, FL, Donald (Sue) Lewey of Las Vegas, NV, and Margaret (Leon) Green of Litchfield, IL.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Ronald (Sonny) Lewey and Karen Cacye Calvert.
A memorial service honoring Bonnie's life will be held on Sat, Nov 12 at 2 pm at the Bear Lake Christian Church on M-72. Pastor Scott Hoffer will be officiating.
