Marvin J. Bruce, 74, passed away January 16, 1993, in his home.
He was born December 26, 1918 in Detroit, to Joseph and Mary (Mahaffy) Bruce.
He graduated from Peck High School and attended Michigan State University. He married Betty Jane Nichol October 26, 1940, in Brown City.
He was a lifelong fanner and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Brown city; past master and life member of Custer Lodge 393 F & AM serving as their chaplain for 15 years; past president of Elk Lodge Temple Board and Sanilac County Masonic Associations; past high priest and life member of Sanilac Chapter 145 RAM; past thrice illustrious master and life member of Cass City Council 90 R & SM; past president of the Triangle Criptic Association; past commander and life member of Lexington Commandery 27 KT and had served the Grand Commandery of Michigan on the Instruction Board, membership and Grand Commanders Service Award Committees; past captain general of Eastern Michigan Battalion KT of Michigan; member of Elf Khurefeh Shrine, AAONMS of Saginaw; Sanilac County Shrine Club.
