Marvin Dale Cronce, age 72, of North Branch, MI passed away suddenly on Thu, Nov 4, 2021 at Marlette Regional Hospital in Marlette, MI.
Dale was born to the late Leland and Donna (Clink) Cronce on Dec 7, 1948 in Brown City, MI. He was the second oldest of nine children. Dale graduated from Brown City High School with the class of 1967. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1970. Dale met the love of his life, Carol Kreiner, and they were married Apr 9, 1969 at St. Mary’s Church of Burnside. He has been a member of St. Mary’s of Burnside Church since 1969. Dale was a manager at North Branch Oil and Gas and did appliance repair for many years. In his free time he enjoyed coon hunting and dog shows. Dale was a member of the Michigan Coon Hunter’s Association. He was also a member of the VFW in North Branch. Above all else, Dale loved being a grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol Cronce; children, Jeffrey (Melanie) Cronce, Cherie (Tracy) McClelland, and Keith (Jacqueline) Cronce; grandchildren, Jennifer (Cody) Anderson, Aaron (Jensen) McClelland, Caitlyn Cronce, Jared Crance, and Jace Cronce; great grandchildren, Lillan McClelland and Liberty Anderson; and siblings, Joyce, Jackie, Mark, Allen, Shirley, Ken, Barb, and Bob.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Donna (Clink) Cronce.
The family will receive visitors from 2 to 8 pm Sun, Nov 14, 2021 at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette with a Rosary Service at 7pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am, Mon, Nov 15, 2021 at St. Mary’s of Burnside Church with Father Muma officiating with visitation from 10 am until the time of service. Rite of committal will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery of Burnside.
