Marvel M Lantzer, 88, a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County, died Thu, Feb 1, 2001, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
She was a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ, and she enjoyed sewing and oil painting.
Shew as born in Kalkaska County on Apr 3, 1912, the daughter of John and Bertha McCool Tanner. On Jun 29, 1931, in Rapid City, she married Jay Lantzer who survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons Bruce (Joyce) Lantzer and Dale (Jeanne) Lantzer, both of Kalkaska; daughter, Melba (Gary Golden of Kalkaska and Norma (Lyle) North of Coopersville; sisters, Nellie Hamilton of Kalkaska and Josephine Aldridge of Cadillac; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and three and great great grandchildren.
Brothers Thad, Milo, and Gene Tanner, preceded her in death.
