Martin D Peck, 85, of Kalkaska, died Mon, Dec 20, 1999, at Munson Medical Center.
Mr. Peck was born in Kent County on May 26, 1914, to Otis and LaVerne Davis Peck. He married Geraldine Hughey in Kalkaska on Jul 19, 1946.
A retired stone mason, Mr. Peck had been a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and was a member of the Rapid City Church of Christ and the Disabled American Veterans. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Surviving are wife Geraldine; son Martin (Lori) Peck of Rapid City; daughters Phyllis (Larry) Barber and Sharon (Allen) Cross, both of Rapid City, and Geri Sue (Brett) Gallagher of Kalkaska; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Brothers Ralph and Dayton, and sisters Beatrice Smith, Pauline Rimmel, Florence Belcher and Bessie Hickin preceded him in death.
Funeral services were Dec 22 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; E. Dan Johnson officiated. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
