Marshall A. Bruder, 87, of Rapid City, died Jul 8, 1998, at his home.
Mr. Bruder was born in Detroit on Apr 26, 1911, the son of Julius and Clara Sass Bruder. On Sep 22, 1934, in Detroit, he married Isobel Kelsey, who preceded him in death on Jun 28, 1992.
Mr. Bruder had lived in Detroit prior to moving to the Rapid City area in 1945. He was a retired farmer and mechanic, and was a member of the Farm Bureau and the Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Surviving are his daughter Norma (Gordon) Dunlap of DeLand, FL; son in law Terry Miller of Columbus, OH; sister Lenore Keys of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren Gilbert, Marsha, and Rodney Dunlap and Kelsey Cavanaugh; and five great grandchildren.
Besides his wife he was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Miller.
Funeral services were held Jul 11 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Bert Grooten officiated. Burial was in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
