Marliss Rushing, 76, of Kenosha passed away peacefully on Sat, May 6, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Marliss was born on Dec 31, 1940 in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Marvin Marotz & Alice (Soderstrom) Krumm. She was educated at Bethany & Friedens Lutheran Schools. Marliss married Gary Jaster, they later divorced, she then married, Ken Conner, after Ken’s passing, she married Paul Rushing in 2001. She was employed at Jockey International and Manutronics/ Samina for many years. Her hobbies were gardening, boating, playing piano, karaoke, traveling, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family & Friends.
Survivors include her children, Ray (Terri) Jaster of Pound, WI, Debra (Andreas) Reifenberger of Kenosha, Cindy (Jim) Anderson of South Elgin, IL; brothers, Leland & Dennis Marotz of Kenosha; sister, Lori (Bud) Biller of Bristol; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; she was also survived by numerous step faily in Northern WI. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gary Jaster, Ken Conner, and Paul Rushing. Also preceding her in death were 2 brothers, Alvin Marotz and Kurt Krumm; 1 sister, Donna Turner and her grandson, Doug Novak.
A visitation will be held on Tue, May 16, 2017, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 9 to 11 am with funeral services to follow at 11 am. Burial in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
