Marjorie M Autio of South Boardman passed away peacefully on Thu, Jan 5, 2006, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center- Long Term Care unit.
She was born on Jan 13, 1926, in Copemish, the daughter of the late Charles and Reatha (Carpenter) Vance.
Marjorie married Robert McTagert, who preceded her in death, in 1955. She later married Elmer Autio, who also preceded her in death, in 1971.
She loved fishing, flowers, birds, and her cat, "Tinker Bell." Marjorie was alife member of the Kalkaska VFW Post 8684 Ladies Auxiliary and a resident of South Boardman since 1955.
Surviving Marjorie are her nephew and niece, Charles (Carol) Borgen and Josie (Ronald) Clay, who have been special caregivers for the last few years; numerous nephews and nieces; many grandnephews and grand nieces; brothers, Walter Vance of southern Michigan, Bob (Caroline) Vance of OH, and Donald (Elma) Vance of Rapid City; and sister in law, Martha Millu of L'Ance.
The funeral service was held on Tue, Jan 10 at the Wolfe Funeral Home. Burial was at Lodi Cemetery.
