Marion Ream, 57, claimed by death. Last rites for Dunkirk carpenter to be at 2:30 pm.
Marion Ream, 57, of East Patterson Street, Dunkirk, died in McKitrick hospital, Kenton, at 9 o’clock Friday night following an illness of one week.
A son of Ethram (sic) and Amanda Ream, he was born in Allen County, Sept. 25, 1888. On June 4, 1911, he married Ethel Hoy, of Lima, who survives with two daughters and four sons.
Children are Una Evalene, at home; Mrs. Arthur Carpenter, Kenton; Kenneth Ream, Dunkirk, Garner Ream, Patterson; Marion Jr., Dunkirk, and Jack Ream, serving with the U.S. Navy. There are two brothers, H.S. Ream of New Stark, and Elihu Ream of Ada.
A lifetime resident of the Dunkirk community, Mr. Ream followed the occupation of carpenter.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Blanchard River Church of Christ. Rev. Floyd Harris will officiate. Interment will be in Dunkirk cemetery.
