Marilyn Anne Kull Brown, 74, of Rapid City, passed away on Tue, Jul 30, 2002, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. She was born Aug 1, 1927, in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Harry Robert and Helen Emma Dorothy (Edelhoff) Kull.
Marilyn graduated from Arthur Hill High School and Wayne State University with a bachelor's degree in science. She married Erwin E Brown May 26, 1951, in Royal Oak. She had worked for the Royal Oak Public Library for more than 23 years when she retired in 1992 and moved to Rapid City. She loved sewing, American history books and reading. She was a member of the Clearwater Township Seniors Association and past member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Ferndale.
Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Anne M. (Timothy) Thomas of Hebron, IN, Mary K (Wayne) Wright of Rapid City, and Phoebe H Noble of Rapid City; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; brother, H Robert (Barbara) Kull of Lansing; and sisters, Pauline (Jan) Saltzgaber of ST Simons, Island, GA, and Suzanne (Jack) Hughes of Royal Oak.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Erwin on Jan 30, 1976; great grandson, Ethan Wright on Jun 22, 1997; and brother, James Kull.
The family had a memorial service Aug 3 at Clearwater Township Hall in Rapid City. Memorials may be given in behalf of Marilyn Anne Kull Brown to the Clearwater Township Seniors Association, Rapid City.
