Mrs. Marian M. Schermerhorn, 88, of Kalkaska, died Fri, Apr 28, 1995, at Munson Medical Center.
Mrs. Schermerhorn lived in Flint for most of her life until moving to Kalkaska in 1975. She attended the Missionary Church. She was born in Bellevue on Jun 5, 1906, daughter of the late John and Lucretia Crow Manzer. She was married in Flint on Feb 14, 1936 to Harold Schermerhorn who survives.
also surviving are two daughters, Janet Arkless of Kalkaska and June (JoAnn) Stene and husband, Mike of Sand Point, ID; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Three sisters, Margaret Sergent, Coyla Swartz, and Catherine Bentley, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Tue, May 2, 1995, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Philip Douglass officiated. Burial was in Cleon Township Cemetery, Copemish.
