Marian M. Langley, 66, of Birch Run, died Nov 26, 1998, at Saint Mary's Hospital, Mrs. Douglas was born Feb 27, 1932, in Birch Run to Marion and Alice Douglas. She married Devillo Hodges on Oct 10, 1953, in Birch Run. he died Nov 18, 1987. On May 21, 1993,s he married Robert Langley.
Mrs. Langley was the owner and operator of Marian's Licensed Day Care in Kalkaska. She also had been employed by the Birch Run School District as a secretary, retiring in 1976. She was a member of the Kalkaska Lioness Club.
Besides her husband Robert, she is survived by children Diane (Donald) Wolfinger of Coldwater, Brian (Debbie) Hodges of Kalkaska, Randy (Sandy) Langley of West Branch, Wendy (Terry) Jackson of Anchorage, AK; 16 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and sisters and brothers Duane Douglas, Donna (Carl) Cooper, Louie (Kay) Douglas, Alice Cooper, and Ruth Way.
Preceding her in death were her former husband, and son Duane Hodges.
Funeral services were held Nov 29, at Krauss-Torhan Funeral Home in Birch Run. Rev. Dale E. Brown officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
