Marian Kathleen Kelly, passed away on Thu, May 20, 2010 surrounded by her devoted family at Bortz Nursing Home in Traverse City. She was born on Jan 27, 1930 in Marion, the daughter of the late Robert and Hannah (Jolly) Davis.
Marian married Francis E Kelly on Jul 13, 1953. Together they have been residents of Kalkaska since 1970 moving from Storm Lake, IA. Marian enjoyed swimming with the grandchildren and spending time at Drummond Island. Her hobbies included fishing, story telling, riding mini bikes on the trails with the family and practical jokes.
Marian is survived by her husband, Francis of 56 years; her children, Karen (Steve) Jackson of Shepard, Judy Smithingell, Michael (Denise) Kelly, Glenda Kelly, and Russell (Tina Priami) Kelly, all of Kalkaska and Carlen (Robert) Hatfield of South Boardman; 12 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and her siblings, Jim (Sarah) Davis of Kalkaska and Nelda Wilson of Gaylord.
Funeral services will be held on Mon, May 24, at 1 pm at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Reverend Mark McCool of the Antrim County Church of Christ will be officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
