Margaret S. Oselett, 81, of Kalkaska, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sep 29, 2003, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center- LTC.
She was born on Mar 31, 1922, in Croswell, the daughter of Harvey and Verna (Doan) Bowser.
Margaret married Dewey J Oselett on Jul 18, 1942, in Croswell. She loved to sew, crochet, embroider and cook. Margaret listened to country music and church music. She enjoyed attending the Kalkaska Senior Center for Fellowship and lunch. Margaret also dearly loved her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol M (Wayne) Bissett of South Boardman; grandchildren, Darryl (Laura Truelove, Fiance), Bissett, Darlene (Michael) Ritter and Denise (Doug) Short; great grandchildren, Amber Bissett, Larry Bissett, Tyler Bissett, Kristopher Bissett, Jordan Ritter, Nicole Ritter, Brittney Short and Shania Short; brother, Melvin Bowser of Lexington; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceding Margaret in death was her husband, Dewey; son Phillip D. Oselett; and brother, Ralph Bowser.
A funeral service was held Oct 3 at the Kalkaska United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bob Stark officiating. Interment was at Lodi Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed in behalf of Margaret to the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center- Long Term Care or the Kalkaska Senior Center.
