Mrs. Margaret M. Russell, 86, of Kalkaska, died Sat, Sep 7, 1991 at her residence.
Mrs. Russell had been a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County having moved to Kalkaska 22 years ago from South Boardman. She enjoyed flowers and crocheting.
She was born in South Boardman on Jul 6, 1905 to Frank and Maude Walgamott Warren. On Apr 30, 1924, in South Boardman, she was married to James Russell who preceded her in death on Mar 6, 1970.
Also preceding her in death were six brothers, Claude, Guy, Fred, Elmer, Earl, and Leonard Warren, and one sister, Lulu Birgy.
She is survived by seven daughters, Beatrice Schiellerd of Harrison, Madge Stites of Williamsburg, Lena Beckwith of Washington Courthouse, OH, Eunice Galvanti of Grayling, Imogene Potes of Clio, and Winifred Beckwith and Gloria Kimball both of Kalkaska; 23 grandchildren; and 37 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Mon, Sep 9, 1991 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Paul Karges, pastor of The Peoples Church, officiated. Burial was in Boardman Township Cemetery, Kalkaska.
