Margaret "Maggie" Leigh (Jennings) Tracey, 45, of Port St Lucie FL, formerly of Kalkaska, passed away Sun, Aug 23, surrounded by her loving family.
Maggie developed a deep faith in God through her illness - and was always sharing her strength with others.
She was born Dec 1, 1963 in Garden City, MI to Robert Lloyd and Shirley Ann (Cardinal) Jennings.
Her family moved to Kalkaska in 1969. Maggie graduated from Kalkaska High School in 1981.
She married Vernon Eugene Tracey in Aug 1983. Together they raised seven wonderful children.
Maggie and Vernon moved to Port St Lucie in 2004.
Maggie is survived by her devoted husband of 26 years, Vernon Tracey; her loving children, Billie Jo (Dan) Briggs of South Boarman, April (Scott) Light of Port St Lucie, Eric (Erica) Tracey of Port St Lucie, Elizabeth (Marvin) Schaub of Lima, OH, and Jason (Brittany) Tracey, LeAnn Tracey,a nd Ryan Tracey all of Port St Lucie; her precious grandchildren, Karli, Kaleb, Tristan, Deidre, William, Brandon, Eric Jr, McKenzi, Hannah, Autumn, Summer, Que, and Bell and her dear mother, Shirley Jennings of Kalkaska.
Also surviving Maggie are her siblings, Lori (Leon) Henriet of Kalkaska, Robert Jennings of GArden City, Raymond Jennings of Traverse City, Casey Jennings of Traverse City, and Roxanne Jennings of Highland.
Maggie was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lloyd Jennings and her brother, Gary Michael Jennings.
Maggie lived her life to the fullest. She always had time for her children and friends. Maggie was a wonderful mother and a great wife- and left a legacy of love behind her. Though she will be greatly missed, her friends and family will always have great memories to share and laugh over.
Visitation for Maggie was held Thu, Aug 27 from 5 to 8 pm at the Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home.
Funeral services were Fri at 11 am at the Evergreen Bible Baptist Church, with Pastor Bill Kuiper officiating.
