Margaret E VanAmburg, 83, of Kalkaska passed away on Aug 6, 2005, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center-Long Term Care Center.
Born on Jun 14, 1922, in Kalkaska, she was the daughter of the late Floyde and Margaret Jenkins.
Margaret married Chester L VanAmburg on Aug 22, 1949, in Ashland, IN. They were residents of Kalkaska since moving from Traverse City in 1972.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Chester of 56 years; children, Alice VanAmbugr-Sherriff of Lake City, Jenette VanAmburg of Thompsonville, Marie (Jerry) Cherwinski of Gaylord, Edward (Barb) VanAmburg of Niota, TN, and Patsy Wiseman of FL; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Preceding Margaret in death was her daughter, Barbara Jo VanAmburg; grandson, Jamie Sherriff; and brothers, Wilbur and Everette.
Cremation has taken place and burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home.
