Margaret D. Mulvihill passed away Fri, Feb 20, 2009, at her home in Kalkaska. She was born Apr 24, 1912, in Middlesboro, Yorkshire, England, the daughter of the late George and Violet (Barker) Wood.
Margaret married James Joseph Mulvihill on May 5, 1960, in Detroit. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, knitting, crocheting, and spending time with family. Margaret loved wintering in Holiday, FL, which she did for the last 40 years. She was a member of the South Boardman Senior Citizens and St Mary of the Woods Catholic Church.
Margaret is survived by her children; Richard John Beasley, Jr., Nancy Ellen (Bick) Mayo, Mary Kay Nowakowski and George Alan Beasley; her 15 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; five step great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, James; her siblings, George Wood, Kenneth Wood, and Edith Wardle; her daughter in law, Dorothy Beasley; son in law, Chester Nowakowski; grandsons, Dana J Beasley and Steven J Nowakowski; and great grandson, Joshua Buck Riley.
Visitation will be held Sun, Feb 22 from 3 to 8 pm at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home with a scripture service at 7 pm. The mass of Christian Burial will be Mon at 10 am at St Mary of the Woods Catholic Church with the Rev Roland Silva officiating. Burial will be in Garfield Township Cemetery.
