Margaret D. Schroeder, 94, of Sun City Center, FL, died on Tue, Oct 17, 2006, at Palm Gardens Nursing Home.
She was born on Oct 2, 1912, in South Boardman, MI, the daughter of Arthur D and Jennie (Dick) Toser. Margaret graduated from Kalkaska High School and County Normal in Mount Pleasant. She then taught at the Dick School, which was located on the Dick Family Farm in South Boardman. She married John Schroeder of Mancelona. The couple lived in Charlevoix where they owned and operated Schroeder's Drug Store for over 30 years. John and Margaret retired in Sun City Center, FL.
Margaret is survived by her children, Angie (Don) Sergeant of Sun City, FL, and Janet Schroeder of Fennville, MI; two grandchildren, Scott (Barb) Sergeant of Suffolk, VA, and Shaine Sergeant of South Bend, IN; and three great grandchildren, Austin, Megan, and Tyler Sergeant.
Margaret was precede in death by her husband John.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Mancelona.
