Margaret Anna Hoppe, 64, passed away Apr 2, 2003, surrounded by her family after a long illness at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Long Term Care.
She was the mother of Herman Walter Hoppe Jr of Kalkaska, Teresa A (Robert) Watts of South Boardman and Vicki L Hoppe of South Boardman; sister of Marie Conley of Weeping Water, Neb., Marjorie Hayes of Tabor, IA, Lois Addleman of Bellevue, Neb, John (Jean) Fleck of Springfield, Neb, brother, Harold Fleck of Lincoln, Neb; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Margaret married Herman Walter Hoppe Sr on Aug 11, 1955, in Papplion, Neb. She was a resident of South Boardman since 1969 and a past member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Herman, on Jul 4, 1972, her parents and four brothers.
A funeral service conducted Apr 5, 2003, at Wolfe Funeral Home. The Rev. William D Kuiper of Evergreen Bible Baptist Church officiated. Interment was at the Boardman Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorials be made to the family of Margaret Hoppe, PO Box 171, South Boardman, MI 49680.
