Mrs. Malvina Urbin, 76, of Kalkaska, died Thu, Jul 13, 1995 at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Long-Term Care Unit.
Mrs. Urbin had been a resident of Kalkaska County for the past 22 years. She was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, and enjoyed crafts, cooking, and her family.
Born on Apr 26, 1919, in Idderyem, Belgium, she was the daughter of Charles and Josephine (Coppens) Paternoster. On Aug 2, 1941, in East Detroit, she married Aloysius J Urbin, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Thomas (Judy) Urbin of Roseville and Mark (Sharon) Urbin of Torch Lake; one daughter, Patricia (Frank) Stanton of Warren; two brothers, Albert (Betty) Paternoster of St. Clair Shores and Robert (Marlene) Paternoster of Mt. Clemens; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Marcel Paternoster.
A scripture service was held at 7:30 pm, Fri, Jul 14, 1995.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Sat, Jul 15, 1995 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Father Patrick Barrett officiated. Burial was in St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Cemetery.
