Mrs. Mabel Burling, 81, a resident of Kalkaska for the past 2 1/2 years, died Mon, Dec 23, 1991 at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Burling resided in Florida prior to moving to Kalkaska. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Lakeland Garden Club, and the Boardman Area Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed reading and volunteer work.
She was born in Washington D.C. on Feb 11, 1910 to Buell and Elizabeth Moran Stanley. On Jul 2, 1934 she was married to F. Karl Burling who preceded her in death on Dec 12, 1978. One sister, Louise Rowley also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Fred (Barbara) Joles of South Boardman; one grandson, Karl Joles, in Utah, and one niece.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
