Mabel E. "Sally" Bisard, 83, of Kalkaska, died Mon, Jan 3, 2000, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Mrs. Bisard resided in Owosso until 1980, when she moved to Kalkaska County. She was a member of the Owosso Country Club, the First Congressional Church of Owosso, and a life member of the Owosso Study Club. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and Jazz music.
She was born in Perry Township on Feb 11, 1916, the daughter of William and Beulah Alling Morrice. On Jun 29, 1940, in Morrice, she was united in marriage with Elmer Bisard, who survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by sons Michael Morrice of LaConchita, CA and Thomas Bisard of Kalkaska; daughter Joanna Candler of Santa Barbara, CA; and grandchildren Matthew Candler, Cristy Candler, Aaron Morrice and Adam Morrice.
Sister Rachel Morrice preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be in the spring. Memorial gifts may be made to the Owosso YMCA, a nature conservancy or a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
