Lynn D. Ruehl, 86 of Kalkaska, passed away on Sun, May 27, 2012. She was born on Jun 19, 1925 in Inkster to the late Orley and Carolyn (Coe) Merrihew.
Lynn married John Henry Ruehl on Nov 15, 1943 in Detroit. Together they raised two wonderful daughters. Lynn enjoyed traveling, fishing, reading, and crossword puzzles. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a close friend to many. Lynn will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Judith L. Bergtold of Gaylord and Jennifer L (Gene) Cook of Burton; her four cherished grandchildren, Brad (Wendy) Brown-Bergtold of Indialantic, FL, Jason (Susan) Bergtold of Manhattan, KS, Miriah L DeKold of Clio, and Scott DeKold of Grand Blanc; her six precious great grandchildren; and her dear sister, Shirley Webster of Fort Lauterdale, FL.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John; her parents, Orley and Carolyn; and her son in law, Ted Bergtold.
A graveside service for Lynn was held on Wed, May 30 at 3pm at Evergreen Cemetery of Kalkaska, Pastor Noreen Shafer officiated.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
