Mrs. Louise M. Gersich, 90, of Kalkaska, died Mon, Feb 26, 1996, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Gersich moved to Kalkaska from Highland Park in 1980. She was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church and enjoyed flowers and her grandchildren. Born in Calumet on Sep 27, 1905, she was the daughter of Frank and Louisa Snedec Bahor. On Jun 19, 1937, in Highland Park, she married Edward Gersich who preceded her in death Mar 24, 1968. Surviving are daughters Elizabeth Kulesz of Troy and Catherine (Irene) Rogers Hartley of Corvales, OR; brother John Bahor of Kalkaska; sister Elizabeth Nays of Dayton, OH; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
Four brothers, Ralph Klobuchar, Henry Klobuchar, Frank Bahor and Joseph Bahor, and two sisters, Mary Bahor and Annie Madary, preceded her in death.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Feb 29 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Father Patrick J Barrett officiated. Burial in Lake View Cemetery, Calumet.
