Loriann Griswold (Tannis) Yung passed away unexpectedly on Dec 27, 2019.
She worked her entire career in the legal profession as a certified paralegal.
She served as secretary of the National Association of Legal Secretaries.
She was a veteran who served in the US Army.
Loriann was born Nov 4, 1963 in Seoul, Korea, and was adopted at age 5 by Art and Bette Griswold, of Mendota, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Kirk Griswold.
Surviving Loriann are her sons, Jonah Tanis and Joshua Tanis, both of Traverse City; her brothers, Jeff (Andrea) Griswold, of Mendota, IL, Mike (Lhen) Griswold, of the Philippines, and Brad (Debbie) Griswold of Fallbrook, CA; many nieces and nephews; and her dog, Kodak.
A celebration of Loriann's life will take place Jan 11, 2020 at the First Baptist Church, 244 Washington St, Traverse City, at 1 pm. A luncheon will be served at the church following the service.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be at a later date.
