Loretta A. Brown, 70, of Kalkaska passed away Tue, Dec 1, 2009.
She was the daughter of the late Vincent Patrick Casey and Elsie Kay (Hawkins) Lore.
Loretta moved from Chicago, IL to Vicksburg, MI in 1947,. She made Kalkaska her home in 1975. She loved the people in Kalkaska, and spending time with her family.
She was particularly fond of game shows, especially Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, and most enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Loretta loved animals and was a member of the National Humane Society for six years.
Surviving Loretta are her four children: Randy (Ronda) Curtis of Vicksburg, Connie (Mike) Ketchum of Grayling, Cathy Curtis of Kalkaska, and Fred (Ellyn) Curtis of Scotts, MI; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Rodney S. Curtis; her brother, Hugh Casey; her sister, Theresa Glidden, and her loving partner, Harry C Mitchell.
Loretta donated her eyes to the Midwest Eye Bank.
